Eliora Cleaning Services reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these terms and conditions without giving any prior notice. Please check this website www.elioraclean.com for updates.

By ordering Eliora Cleaning services by telephone, e-mail, or through the website, the client agrees to be bound by Eliora Cleaning Services’ terms and conditions as governed by the relevant laws of the United Kingdom. The client therefore agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of the United Kingdom.

The cost of our service for one cleaner is from £16.00 per hour for a minimum of 3 hours and the client will provide a list of tasks to be done in addition to grant of access to the premises where work is to be carried out. If a staff working for Eliora Cleaning Services should collect keys from a third party’s address other than the premises where work is to be carried out, the customer understands that an applicable service charge will be added. The client also understands that the price quoted is not an “all inclusive deal package” unless otherwise stated by Eliora Cleaning Services and therefore that Eliora Cleaning Services reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should the client’s original requirements change. All the cleaning materials and equipment are to be provided by Eliora Cleaning Services unless the client has made special arrangements to provide the cleaning materials and equipment needed for the required Job. In that case the client must ensure that all the cleaning materials and equipment provided are safe and in full working condition. Eliora Cleaning Services will discuss with the client any differences in excess of 10% of the initial quotation prior to the commencement of the work. Our client is advised that some cleaning may take more than double the length of time required for a standard routine cleaning regime and therefore understands that some degree of flexibility is required as estimates of how long it will take our staff to carry out a job is only an estimate based on the average time it takes to clean a home or office of similar size to his/hers without difficulty.

Eliora Cleaning Services will demand a £500.00 employment referral fee from our client should he/she directly engage anyone currently employed/sub-contracted by us within the one year period to such employment. The Client agrees to pay this fee and all collection or legal service fees that Eliora Cleaning Services incurs in the process of collecting this fees whether he notifies us of his/her actions or Eliora Cleaning Services discovers this employment independently at any time after it occurs.

Payments
Eliora Cleaning Services accepts cheques, cash and bank transfer upon completion of the job on the day of the service for all outstanding balances for services carried out.  In some cases a deposit of 50% may be required at the time of booking before commencement of the job.

Claims
Although our cleaning staffs carry out services with utmost care and reliability, in situations where accidents occur, the customer accepts and understands that poor service; breakage/damage or theft must be reported within 24 hours from the date of service. Failure to do so will entitle customer to nothing.

Eliora Cleaning Services advises that the client or the client’s representative must be present at the time of completion of the job so that an inspection can be carried out and any corrections made on site on the same day. If the client has scheduled an inventory check then Eliora Cleaning Services advises that it must be scheduled to commence no later than 24 hours after the job has been carried out.

In case of any damage Eliora Cleaning Services will repair the damaged item at its cost; and if the damaged item cannot be repaired Eliora Cleaning Services will rectify the problem by crediting the client with the item’s present actual cash value toward a like replacement from an Eliora Cleaning Services’ source upon payment of the services rendered. If the client is not completely satisfied with a service, a complaint must be logged within 48 hours from the day service was rendered. Eliora Cleaning Services will have to re-visit any areas and items of the service to client’s satisfaction.

The client understands that all breakable and fragile items must be secured or removed. The client understands that excluded from liability are items such as cash, art and antiques, and jewelry; items of sentimental value (the client will be credited with the item’s present cash value). Eliora Cleaning Services will pay for key replacement/locksmith fees only if our staff loses keys.

Eliora Cleaning Services reserves the right not to be held responsible for job not completed due to: the lack of suitable cleaning materials and/or equipment provided by the client and not in full working order, hot water or power; third party entering or present at the client’s premises during the service process; wear or discolouring of fabric which becomes more visible once dirt has been removed; failing to remove old/permanent stains that cannot be removed using standard cleaning methods; existing damage or spillage that cannot be cleaned/removed completely by use of standard cleaning materials and equipment; any damages caused by a faulty or substandard working materials or equipment supplied by the client; accidental damages worth £50 or less if the client has an unpaid balance owed to Eliora Cleaning Services.

Cancellations
A client may cancel a job booking by giving at least 24 hours advance notice (in the case of residential cleaning) or 30 days prior notice (in the case of long term contracts) in writing and specifying the last service date if terminating whole service contract.

The client agrees to pay the full price of the service if he/she cancels or changes the date/time in less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. The client agrees to pay the full price of the service in the event of a lockout or our staff being turned away on arrival as no one is at home/office to let them in; or as a result of problem with client’s keys/lock. The keys provided to our staff to gain entry into the client’s place for service to be carried out must open the lock without requiring any special efforts or skills.

If the client has given less than one week of advance notice for the termination of service contract, he/she agrees to pay the full price of one standard cleaning regime. The client can terminate the service without giving one week advance notice but by giving 24 hours advance notice only before or immediately after the first service is provided.
